Synthetic Weed Killers:
Synthetic weed killers are weed killers made of compounds formed through a chemical process by human agency, as opposed to those of natural origin. Glyphosate (example: Roundup®) is an example of a synthetic herbicide. Glyphosate typically takes 7 to 14 days to get a response. Glyphosate products will never be OMRI Listed or approved for use in Organic Production or Organic Gardening.
